Hello everyone, I wanted to send out a little news update of what I've been up to lately. I've included lots of pictures to try to convince everyone to move out to Colorado :)

I always enjoy hiking. About a month ago I climbed Grays Peak with Britta and Bobbie Jo. Grays is  14,270' in altitude and is the 9th highest mountain in Colorado.
Another favorite place of mine to hike is in Rocky Mountain National Park. There are lots of waterfalls! If you like waterfalls I would recommend moving out here to Colorado. I could show you how to find them.
As many of you know I've started a new job. A new job up in the mountains. So if you would like to work up in the mountains, you should move out here. This picture is at the exit I take to get to work.
I work in Genesee Park, the park itself is right above my building. It's pretty cool because I can go up to the park and eat lunch or go walking etc. I took this picture of a very famous house that you can see from the park. It was in a Woody Allen film and looks very futuristic. It's also for sale. Only $10,000,000 if the rumors are correct.

So the other day Britta and I were in Grand Teton National Park. We decided to relax for a while so we grabbed a couple of books, some camp chairs, and a package of Pringles and went down to the lake. We were just reading our books and having a good time. After a while we heard a little commotion behind us. Britta thought she saw a big dog out of the corner of her eye, but decided she would just ignore it. I turned around and found myself looking at a fairly large Black Bear about five feet behind me. The bear was jumping over and around some rocks and logs to get down to the shore. The good news was that the bear decided to ignore us and our Pringles and just go for a swim. After my heart attack subsided, and I got a little ways away, I pulled out my camera and took some shots. Because I hadn't been planning on running into a bear, I ran out of film and had to go back for more. Luckily we caught up with the bear again after it had crossed over a stream and was a bit farther away.

Well, that is what I've been up to. What are you all doing these days? Give me a call, I put my new cell phone number up top. Britta and I are going to hopefully do a small redesign of our site at some point here. I'll send out another email when it is all done. Have a great day!
